Terms that apply to clippers

NEXUS connects artists / labels with clippers who create and publish short videos (clips) promoting a track or a project. NEXUS acts as a technical intermediary : the platform organizes campaigns, measures views and triggers rewards. It is neither your employer nor your agent.

You act as an independent contractor. Nothing in these terms creates an employment contract, a relationship of subordination, a joint venture or a mandate between you and NEXUS.

• You freely choose whether, when and how you clip.
• You are not bound by any schedule or obligation of results.
• You use your own means (account, equipment, software).

The amounts paid are rewards / commissions, calculated according to the rules shown on each campaign (pay per validated view, target, possible bonuses or flat fees). They are paid gross, with no withholding at source.

• Only VALIDATED views (final count verified via the TikTok API) are paid.
• A video that is deleted, private, or obtained through fraud is not counted.
• Payout happens at the end of the campaign, to your IBAN, above the stated withdrawal threshold.
• NEXUS does not guarantee any amount of earnings: they depend on your actual performance.

You are solely responsible for declaring the income received and complying with your tax and social obligations (taxes, URSSAF), depending on your situation and country of residence.

• In France, a regular activity generally requires setting up a structure (auto-entreprise / micro-entreprise) and declaring your revenue.
• As long as you are not registered, your withdrawals are capped (amount and number per year) to stay within the scope of occasional income.
• NEXUS may ask you for proof (SIRET) to lift this cap, and may be required to share certain information with the competent authorities.

You must be 18 or older to receive rewards. If you are a minor, you must have the authorization of your legal guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.

• Use the campaign's official sound (the « Use this sound » feature, no re-upload).
• Follow the format and minimum duration stated in the brief.
• Buying views / using bots is strictly forbidden (immediate ban).
• No offensive, hateful, misleading or illegal content.
• Non-credible « reacts » (a face slapped on as an overlay) are not counted.
• Credit / tag the artist as requested in the brief.

The content provided by NEXUS or the artist (excerpts, images, sounds) is made available to you solely to create clips as part of the campaign. You warrant that you hold the rights to the elements you add and undertake not to misuse the content provided.

NEXUS may suspend or close your access, reject a clip and withhold the corresponding amounts in the event of fraud (bots, fake accounts, bought views), breach of these terms, or behavior that harms an artist or the platform.

Your payment information (identity, IBAN) and, where applicable, your SIRET are used only to pay you and to meet our legal obligations. They are visible only to you and the NEXUS team.

These terms may change. The applicable version is the one online at the time of your withdrawal request. By continuing to use NEXUS, you accept the up-to-date version.

NEXUS strives to provide a reliable service but cannot be held liable for the decisions of third-party platforms (TikTok, YouTube, etc.), a drop in reach, a ban of your account due to your own behavior, or a failure to meet your tax obligations.
